Advanced Open Water Course
This course is the next step into the PADI system.
Are starting to take an interest in one part of diving? Or are you still trying everything? Well either way this is the course for you!
In the Advanced course you can experience the kind of diving you love the most and for those that are up for trying anything why not take full advantage of the diverse dives that you can do on this course.
In the Advanced Course you get to try and experience new different activities, such as Wreck diving, Deep diving, Dry suit diving or learning just how much weight you really need in the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive!
The Course consists of 5 Open Water Dives.
There are 2 core dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation and 3 dives that are decided by you with the help of the Deep Blue staff!
Course StructureWe run the course over one week - consisting of one Thursday night session (18.30-21.00) in the classroom and pool and then the weekend to complete the Open Water Dives.
We usually try and plan the Advanced Courses alongside the Farne’s Boats so that you can experience British diving in the UK sea as well as a quarry/lake.
