Divemaster Course
Want to go a little bit further in your diving? Then why not become a Divemaster.
This course is for anyone (18 years and over) that wants to take their diving knowledge and skills to the next level or for the budding diver that wants to branch into a brilliant new career!
The course qualifies you to guide qualified divers out and about and also teaches you how to assist an instructor on other courses.
The course has 3 section, confined water, open water and theory.
- In the theory section you go into more detail on the physics, physiology, equipment and general diving activities and also how to assist and take care for certified divers.
- In the confined water you brush up on all those skills that you did in your open water and learn to show them at demonstration quality. You will also be helping out with courses in the water, assisting the instructor and anticipating their needs for the course.
- In open water you'll be practicing your rescue scenarios and learning to assist students in a different environment to the pool. Also trying out your navigation and leading skills when conducting dives.
- To be 18 years or over
- To have 20 logged dives to start the course and 60 at time of certification
- To be a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent (please contact for more details)

Course Structure
At Deep Blue we run the course as an internship, this means you’ll be helping with real courses and real students.
The course is very flexible and with the help of the Deep Blue staff we can get you through it with the most experience for your future career in diving!
